Utility knife / universal knife

The universal knife creates a clear accent among fresh strawberries.
Utility knives, also known as universal knives, are knives for versatile use in the kitchen. The blade length can vary. However, the blade usually has a special feature, such as a serrated or granton edge. The serrated edge is particularly suitable for cutting crusts, such as bread crusts, or hard skins, such as pineapple skin. The indentations in the blade, known as a granton edge, reduce food sticking to the blade. This is particularly important when working with fatty foods.
