In 2019, Mono partnered with International Justice Mission Germany (IJM) to present a limited edition of the Mono Classic teapot. The classic, designed in 1983 by Tassilo von Grolman, gets a new look and appears in a limited edition in IJM blue. For every teapot sold, a donation share of 50 EUR goes to IJM Germany. International Justice Mission (IJM) is an international human rights organization. Worldwide, IJM advocates for the rights of poor people suffering from arbitrary violence. One focus is on combating human trafficking and modern slavery, which are to be abolished by the year 2030. Social commitment, both local and international, as well as standing up for values and contributing to important topics, has been a central concern for Mono as a family business since its founding. Continuing this tradition, the Mono Classic Edition IJM is a logical consequence. The Mono Classic teapot and matching warmer convince with their timeless shape and function. Thanks to the large stainless steel sieve, the tea leaves can float freely and unfold their full aroma. The glass body is made of fire-resistant Duran glass. The warmer keeps the tea at a pleasant drinking temperature, so that the 1.5 liters can also be enjoyed over a long period. All parts are dishwasher safe. In the IJM Edition, the lid, frame, warmer, and tray receive a silk-matt blue surface, which is created using a powder coating process. The Mono Classic Teapot Edition IJM is 100% Made in Germany.
