For most people, the Altmark is just a flat landscape. It is neither particularly well known nor among the world's most popular places. For most people. For us, however, the Altmark is the most beautiful patch of earth there is. We love the land, the meadows crossed by the little River Milde, and the pair of storks that returns every year to settle on the Hausmannsturm of the castle ruins, spending the summer here in peace and raising its young. And we love making our fine timepieces right here. In Kalbe an der Milde, genuine craftsmanship is created with the highest level of technical skill and a love of detail. Craftsmanship now continued by the second generation. Through delicate handwork and noble as well as innovative materials such as brass, hardened carbon steel, silver, gold, platinum and modern ceramics, we create unique watches exclusively on old machines and only with the help of our hands. For people who see the world through our eyes, who see the small in the great and the special in the general, and who think of home when they hear the word homeland. For us, the Altmark is a piece of home. That is where our watches belong. We simply are not like most people. And we are proud of that!
