## Fragen und Antworten

**Which materials and areas of use is the universal oil suitable for?**

The oil is suitable for caring for metal, wood, leather, rubber, plastic, fur and skin. It is described for applications in trades, industry, agriculture, household and garden, as well as on motor vehicles and in angling, hunting and sport shooting.

**What is the oil suitable for on metal parts and tools?**

On metal, the oil forms an alkaline protective film, neutralises hand perspiration and other acidic, rust-promoting residues and thus protects against corrosion. Thanks to its creeping ability, it also reaches tight corners and fine cracks and is intended for the care of precision and measuring instruments, scales and small precision parts.

**Is the oil suitable for parts in contact with products in the food industry?**

Thanks to its pharmaceutically pure ingredients, the oil is approved for parts in contact with products in the food industry. Due to its composition, it does not gum up.

**What should I bear in mind when using it on leather, plastic and rubber?**

On smooth leather, the oil protects against drying out, water, rot and other damage, but it can darken light-coloured leather. Plastics and rubbers should be oil-resistant; on these materials it helps to maintain elasticity and prevent drying out and embrittlement.
