## Fragen und Antworten

**Is the lounge sofa suitable for indoor and outdoor use?**

The lounge sofa is intended for indoor and outdoor use. Its open-pored, breathable glaze is suitable for both areas of use and still allows the wood to exchange moisture.

**How does the finish differ from untreated wood?**

The furniture is made of solid native spruce and finished with a platinum-grey glaze. The colour is inspired by the silvery-grey patina of naturally weathered wood, which on untreated wood only develops over years.

**Should I expect visible wood grain or knots?**

The knots, texture and grain are unique to each piece of furniture and shape its character. Knots that are firmly ingrown in the wood are not considered a quality defect.

**What does it mean if the wood develops drying cracks over time?**

Seasonal swelling and shrinking of the wood can lead to drying cracks. According to the product description, these affect neither the structural properties nor the strength of the wood and are not grounds for a complaint.

**Does the surface need additional protection against stains?**

The existing surface treatment is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. For additional protection against stains, for example from wine or cola, a final coat of furniture oil is recommended.
