IT IS NOT THAT WE HAVE TOO LITTLE TIME, BUT THAT WE WASTE TOO MUCH OF IT. Seneca The LG/01 lounge set harmoniously combines indoor and outdoor living and stands out through its understated elegance. The set consists of a two-seater lounge sofa, lounge armchair and lounge table. A timeless, natural inspiration. This range highlights individual taste and creates new accents for people who enjoy surrounding themselves with beautiful things – in the garden and in the mind. The furniture is made from local solid spruce wood. Every item is a handmade one-off, finished with a platinum-grey stain. The open-pore, breathable stain is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Large frame cross-sections and solid-wood elements provide high stability and a premium appearance. Only selected timbers are used to manufacture Ante Neo furniture. Gentle drying and storage are prerequisites for the high-quality production of "Made in Germany" products. The individual knot pattern, structure and grain of every component create the distinctive character of each unique item. Knots that are firmly grown into the wood in at least one place, as well as their number, do not constitute a reduction in quality. The high-quality surface emphasises the individuality of every piece and provides long-term protection. Environmentally friendly oil technology allows the colour to penetrate deeply into the wood, supporting natural wood movement and moisture exchange. Seasonal swelling and shrinking can therefore occur without tearing, flaking or peeling of the surface. Any drying cracks do not affect the structural properties or strength of the wood and are not grounds for complaint. The silver-grey patina of weathered wood served as the inspiration for the colour of ante neo furniture. The look that untreated wood gains through years of natural greying is almost achieved through a special application technique. The surface is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. For additional protection against stains such as wine or cola, we recommend a final coat of ante neo Möbelöl. The furniture is individually made after the order is received; delivery takes approx. 3-4 weeks. Simple forms, clear lines – full of character yet unobtrusive. What do the material and surface of the lounge table look like?
The table is made of solid native spruce and finished with a platinum-grey glaze. Texture, grain and individual knots make each handcrafted piece of furniture unique; firmly ingrown knots are not considered a quality defect.
What should I bear in mind when using solid wood outdoors?
The surface treatment allows the wood to work and permits moisture exchange. Seasonal swelling and shrinking can take place without the surface cracking, peeling or flaking; any drying cracks affect neither the structural stability nor the strength of the wood.
When does additional surface protection make sense?
The surface is treated for indoor and outdoor use. If you want additional protection against stains, for example from wine or cola, the product text recommends a final coat of furniture oil.
